This Saturday, September 8, in Frederick’s Historic district is the In the Street festival starting at 11 a.m. The festival has been held in downtown Frederick for over 25 years. There will be entertainment, food and an attendance of about 50,000 people!
Located between 4th and 5th street is the Kid’s Block. Vendors will be entertaining kids and families with face paint and balloon animals. There you will find a puppet show put on by The Greater Frederick Church of Christ. At the Kid’s Block there will be places to make crafts, play games and sidewalk art!
Festivities start at Carroll Creek and end at 7th Street. In the Street lasts from 11 a.m until 5 p.m.
